Weekend Homestays Needed in August

Ritsuko Fukuda, who runs a tennis school in Nagasaki, is bringing six elementary and one junior high student to play tennis and have fun with American students in August. They plan to arrive on Wednesday, August 7 and leave on Tuesday, August 20. During the week of August 12 they will be together at an AirBNB in St. Paul, about a kilometer from the Urban Tennis location at Eastview Recreation Center. However, the students would like to experience American homestays, with or without other children, on the weekend of August 9 to 11 and the following weekend. Can you help out, or know someone who is willing to host them? The adults, Ritsuko and one of the mothers, would also like to homestay on the weekends. As you know, Obon is on Sunday, August 18, and host families will receive free tickets to the event.

Please contact Lindsay Arnett at arnett12 AT sbc DOT edu to volunteer or for more information.
