Nagasaki and St. Paul, Minnesota United States of America
share Japans oldest sister-city affiliation.
This sculpture was donated to the "World Peace Symbol Zone"
by the citizens of St. Paul as an expression of friendship.
The seven human figures represent the continents. The interdependance
of the figures symbolizes global peace and solidarity. |
